Ekklesia is pleased to offer a course on ‘The Early African Christians Contribution to the Church.’

The Early African Christians’ contribution through their philosophical insights, vitality, scriptural interpretation, discipline and morality to the growth of the Christian Church has been largely overlooked. Great African scholars, theologians, mystics and apologists such as St Anthony, Origen, Tertullian, Cyprian, Cyril, Athanasius, Arnobius, Menucius Felix and Augustine (the list continues) contributed enormously through their writings in laying firm foundations for the development and spread of Christianity into Europe and from there to the rest of the world.
